Depression over Southeast Pakistan and Southwest Rajasthan

The Cyclonic Storm (CS) “BIPARJOY” over Rann of Kutch (India) and adjoin and adjoining southeast Pakistan (Tharparker) moved further northeastward during last 12 hours, converted into a Depression and now lies over southwest Rajasthan (India) and southeast Pakistan (Tharparker) near Latitude 24.4°N & Longitude 71.2°E. The associated maximum sustained surface winds are 30-40 Km/hour gusting 50 Km/hour. The system is likely to move further eastward and weaken into a low-pressure area over Rajasthan (India).

Possible Impacts:
More rain-thunderstorms with few heavy falls & accompanied with gusty winds of 30-40 Km/hour gusting 50 Km/hour expected in Tharparker, Umerkot and parts of Badin districts today.
Rain-thunderstorms expected in Thatta, Sujawal & Mirpurkhas districts.
Fishermen of Balochistan can resume their activities from today and those of Sindh from tomorrow.
